My Little Summer Baby

We camped out on Refugio State Beach on Sunday and Kalen just loved it. I wasn't sure how he was going to do outside all day....but he loved it. He loved watching the birds fly by and the trees blowing in the wind. He loved watching the waves and the people. He is definitely going to be a nature boy.

Half A Year Old

So I decided it would be fun to celebrate Kalen's Half Birthday. I even let him eat a little bit of the cake. He thought it was too sour and spit it out. Funny kid.

6 Months Old

It's been awhile, first we had computer problems then we went on vacation....so now I'm back and Kalen is taking a nap. We went up to Washington for Christmas and Kalen just loved the snow. He would smile whenever we put him in it and we have pictures to prove it. Christmas was good, we saw all my family and all Adam's family and even fit in a few friend visits too. Kalen is almost 6 months, he's still a high-needs baby, but things are getting better. He so desperately wants to start crawling or walking, he almost crawled on New Year's eve. He figured out how to get his feet underneath to push off, but just couldn't get his front part of his body of the floor enough. I'm sure he will be doing it sooner then later. He has two new little teeth on the bottom and by his inconsolable crying, i think he has some more on the way. What joy parenthood is, no one ever really tells you how hard it is. It's still all worth it, once he starts laughing and smiling at you again.
