Family Fun

It's been a wonderful week. We had all the Bennett's in town this past week for Grandma Bennett's Memorial Reunion. We hung out at the Beach House all week; soaking up the sun and enjoying the view. Kalen has been hanging out with his cousins. He's been enjoying having other people hold him, besides just his mom. We also had a little wedding shower for Beth and Michael; they will be getting married in a couple weeks. We'll be heading up to Seattle for the wedding, which will be interesting since it will be Kalen's first travel experience.

Such a Big Boy

Here's a few pictures of Kalen at his activity center. We also got to see the world's largest mammal this past weekend. A Blue Whale washed ashore. The whale weighed 140,000 tons and was 72 feet long. It looks like he was hit by a ship.

2 Months Old Still

I'm a horrible mom this week. I haven't taken any new pictures since the last time. We did go to the dr for his 2 month check up last Friday and Kalen now weighs 12 lbs. 14 oz and he's 24 inches long. He's in the 70% for his height and 58% for his weight. He's been trying to stand up all by himself this past week and he's really holding his head up good. We of course think he's a child prodigy:) Kalen and I also did our first Mommy and Me Yoga class and we met up with some other moms in a mommy group. I will put up some new pictures soon...

2 Months Old

Kalen is two months old now. He just started to laugh this week. And he's starting to sleep through the night. We took him to his first bar this weekend. You'll notice how tiny he is in the booth. He's also holding his head up on his own; which makes our walks easier when he's in the sling. He heads to the dr. this Friday for his 2 month check up, so we'll see how's he's growing. He seems likes he's growing like a weed, I feel like he gets bigger and bigger everyday. Here's a video of him talking to the camera.
