My First Potty

So Kalen started pulling at his diaper back in Feb., so I thought he was ready to be introduced to the potty. We went out and bought one and it looks like he was going to like it. Well fast forward 5 months later, he's sat on it a few times and actually did a little wee wee one night after bath time randomly, but still doesn't want anything to do with it other than use it as a stool to get next to the sink. We are not pushing him at all and letting him give us the signs that he's ready. I have a feeling this summer it will happen.

Me and Kalen doing a photoshoot right before bedtime. I was trying to get him to say grammy on the video recorder, but he ended up just making me laugh the whole time. I did get him to say Deeeeelicious and he puts his head back when he does it.

Kalen not feeling so hot

This is the first time we had to deal with Kalen throwing up. He had the 24 hour flu and couldn't keep anything down. Not such a fun experience for all of us.

Kalen just got his Meow Meow #2 ( the little stuffed kitty), secretly we were hoping he would adopt this kitty as his go to kitty instead of the big white one that purr's all the time. And I'm happy to say he has. Big white Meow Meow stays in the crib most days and doesn't purr or hiss at us anymore. Kalen actually tried feeding one of the kitty's. To bad we can't get a real kitty, since Buzzzz would use it as a kitty snack.

Washington Trip 08

We decided on a last minute decision to fly up to Washington right after Christmas. We spent time with the family and unfortunately the pass was closed so Grammy and Papa never made it over for our trip there. We took Kalen up to the snow and of course he loved it. He was freezing to death and still loving being outside in the snow. We got some footage of his first Powderskate run. I'll have to see if i can post later, it's not letting me do it right now.
